Been to Ireland, Back in Scotland!

Wow! It is already nearly November!! Since the last blog we have not stopped!! we had a great reception in Ireland…The Mercenary Fiddler Duo is going down well and we can’t wait to come back next September, we had beautiful weather so I was able to get a few nice pics along the way, Gary even got sunburnt in Dungarven! We caught up with a lot of friends in Kinvara! I even made a dessert!! and we gatecrashed a dinner party just as they were reaching the apple crumble stage :D. Too many highlights to count, though one was definitely changing my guitar strings with Mick Leech…one requires a towel, an ironing board, a bag of sugar and an electric drill!! oh yes and a little dab of lemon oil! though Olive oil will do! Once day back in scotland, then the trip up to Mallaig which is beautiful in any weather, was absolutely stunning in full autumn bloom and bright sunshine! we had a gourmet weekend at the West Highland Hotel playing at the Mallaig book Fest (1st Year) we can’t wait for the next one! and finished the weekend with a blast at Betty Nicols Kirkcaldy organised by the Coaltown Daisies…Check them out! So all in al a most exciting month and it is not quite over yet! Miss Irenie Rose (sister) and Janet Russell (our aunt) and myself are performing together for the first time this weekend …Three related singer-songwriters singing together and individually! 🙂 Please Check out the website Calendar for info on tour dates…or learn more about our travels on Facebook
